Use OpenStreetMap #107
Description
I'd love to see tools like this use OpenStreetMap (the UK-born not-for-profit mapping initiative) which generally offers more detail, but certainly more potential for local feedback and an interesting kind of local engagement compared to a boring old google map.
OpenStreetMap allows the local community to make their base-map nice and rich with details the community cares about, although you don't have to show all the detail if you're looking for something more stylish e.g. use the cartodb renderings of OpenStreetMap data.
