UniFi Protect not updating "Number plate" (others call Licence plate) - remains as Clear

The problem

From cameras that support bringing through licence plate information, all other information comes through from the camera successfully but Number plate detected remains clear and does't update.

@RaHehl could you also check to see why animal detections don't seem to be working either (in this case with a G4 Pro Doorbell). They are recognised within Unifi but the sensor within the HA integration doesnt turn from off to on when this happens. History for animal detections is completely in the off state as none appear to have been recognised. Same version of HA and Integraitons as above. Thanks

The title of this issue is "UniFi Protect not updating 'Number plate' (others call it Licence plate) – remains as Clear #149161".
The title of the issue I referenced is "License Plate Detected for UniFi Protect integration does not update", so the reference is correct in the context of this issue.

The main problem is that the Events API does not deliver reliably. You can verify this yourself by checking the "Get Protect event messages" section of the new public API documentation.
As a client, you can use e.g. Insomnia, which can handle the WebSocket with the auth header. Unfortunately, the events are not delivered consistently.
I have already raised this point, but I am still waiting for feedback.
