How to deal with change of electricity meter? #41083

My electricity organization (Westnetz) was here and has changed the meter... The old one was an ISKRA Model MT681-D4A51-K0p, the new one is an IKA as well Model MT691-D4A52-K0y-H03 GRID
DO I need to delete the "old" one completely is it sufficient just to put the USB reading device to the new meter?
