Link from drag and Drop image?

I see you can drag and drop an image, but I am not sure how to do the following (similar to what GitHub does):

• put a place holder text on initial drop
• replace it with the final image URL

I did look for an example, but I couldn't see anything of note. Is anyone able to suggest an example I could look at.

1. Get the file via onDrop event and upload it by yourself.
2. Insert the obtained image link to the cursor via editorRef.value.insert, this component doesn't provide a wait prompt like github.

We do not limit this position, it's always where the cursor was last before insertion.

Similar to the prompt for uploading an image at github, the steps as I understand them are as follows:

1. when you get the image, immediately insert the template into the editor, e.g. Uploading xxxxxxxxx.png
2. after uploading the image, use the image link to replace the template with the one above it

This is a simple step, it's not as accurate as keeping track of where the template is in the document, but it can be done!

@imzbf Could I put this in as an enhancement request and if I (or someone else) comes up with suitable approach to deal with this, contribute a PR?

Ignoring the modification for now, we think it's more appropriate to globally display a waiting status to limit input when uploading images. And inserting a template and then replacing it, in the meantime if the user modifies the template, it won't be possible to replace it, this issue exists even in github.

Playing with other editors they will often put a drop zone layer to prevent the perception that the cursor can be moved. So maybe this would be something I'll look at combined with the "loading" text, prior to insertion.

In that case, it is recommended to consider custom image extension
