MountainDuck on Windows: ask very often for fingerprint confirmation

Describe the bug
MountainDuck on Windows:

• often asks for fingerprint confirmation during a session or at startup
• ignores the "always" checkbox and keeps asking for the fingerprint
• sometimes shows the fingerprint dialog up to 5 times and then shows a timeout dialog

To Reproduce
Steps to see the issue:

1. Restart the PC
2. On startup, it shows the fingerprint dialog
3. Sometimes it also shows the fingerprint dialog while working

Expected behavior

• First: it should remember the "always" setting so it doesn't keep asking for the fingerprint
• Second: if one dialog is already open, don't show more fingerprint dialogs. I shouldn't have to deal with 5 of them (click "always" and accept each one). Also, don't show a timeout dialog while the fingerprint dialog is still on screen. Basically, don't overwhelm the user with multiple dialogs. Just wait for the answer to the first dialog and then automatically use that reply.
