No use, simply the template to download and install the AppImage is standard, so the scripts are all similar... and I can't know all the existing programs.

For example, I use appimageupdatetool and appimagetool, from their script I removed the part where the launcher and icon are created... but because I know they are not needed!

As for streamlink and other programs requested... what can I know? I just upload them, if they ask me.

If you think that the launcher and icon are not needed for some specific app, open a PR.

Because each section of the script has a header that says what that section does. If you are smart enough to understand how a script works, you create it yourself and modify it to your liking. You just need to know how to read a script.

Don't install desktop files for CLI AppImages

This is thanks to a user who, instead of complaining, preferred to contribute by removing, on his own initiative, the unnecessary part in those CLI-related scripts.

To have such willing users is a luck. They are few, but they are a blessing.

But we are poor wretches, so unfortunately we also have too... too... too many people who complain, without contributing, when they discover a problem, and who don't lift a finger except to ask useless questions. And I say too many because sometimes a few are worth as many... in a negative way 😑
