Cannot power-on the printer using PSU control

When the printer is powered-off, I get messages that the printer is offline. This is obvious, but I can now not turn on the printer when it has been turned off.

The power on/off if I remember right only works if you use a sonoff device and set it up through the app and not through Octoprint as you run into the problem of the printer being offline.

I am going off of memory as my printer is broken and Aliexpress wont ship into my city. I still live in a frontline city and the war continues.

OK, I just looked at the source code. You do need to setup a sonoff device inside OctoTouchController and not Octoprint. It then adds a button to the printer offline dialog so you can turn on the printer.

Ok, the setup I have is as follows:

Ender 3 v3 se with hard switch, connected via a smart plug and Home Assistant, the PSUControl plugin is extended with the PSU Control - HomeAssistant plugin.

Because of this, the printer goes offline, however this is expected.

The interesting part is: the power menu works just fine when its powered on: I can power off. However when you want to open the menu when powered off, you get the "No connection" msg

If you remove the "connection with printer" check and replace it with "connection with Octoprint server", it should work correctly IMO.

Couple of quetsions.
When the printer is off is the Octoprint computer on?
Is the PSUControl a addin in OctoPrint?

Yes, the octoprint is a permanent raspi setup, so its powered separately
The PSUControl plugin and PSUControl for Homeassistant plugin are both installed in OctoPrint, and working for switching the printer off, currently.
