Compile error: glfft

I've run into a compile error on Ubuntu 20.10:

[8/19] Compiling C++ object libglfft.a.p/glfft_glfft.cpp.o
ninja: build stopped: subcommand failed.

Here's what I did:

$ meson build --prefix /usr/local
$ ninja -C build

Any advice would be appreciated.
