Any ideas why this error occurs when trying to update the reserves at /control/reserves the PW_HOST variable is set and all other GET operations are working other than the control operations

Unfortunately, the Powerwall no longer supports control mode via "local" mode. You will need to add the cloud mode settings so that for read operations, it will pull from local, but for control mode it will use the cloud.

TLDR: make sure you set PW_EMAIL in your docker run and then run cloud setup for the proxy:

docker exec -it pypowerwall python3 -m pypowerwall setup -email=email@example.com
docker restart pypowerwall
