Feature Request: Optimized 18pt

First of all thanks so much for this font. By now I live by it and don't think I will ever find a replacement! :)

At the moment Fixedsys Excelsior renders perfectly at multiples of 12 (12/24/36/etc.) (on Windows 11). For a 1080p resolution, this yields 66 lines. I wish there was a way to hit a sweet spot between 12pt and 24pt, at 18pt, for 44 lines. This is the equivalent of 720p resolution. 1080p video is standard, but for text-heavy video a simulated 720p resolution gives a much better viewing experience/DPI. I stream and record a lot of text-heavy video, so I wish there was a way to have Fixedsys Excelsior render crisp and perfectly in 1080p @ 18pt for a simulated 720p.

I hope that makes sense.

Would it be possible to optimize the font to have the same perfect rendering at 18pt (or multiples of 9pt?) as it does at (multiples of) 12pt?

Correction, 1080p @ 18pt yields an equivalent number of lines as 720p @ 12pt (44 lines with line height of 1.2), and this is what I'm aiming for.

I believe you can't "optimize" the font built this way. The font is a vector outline font where pixels are simulated as 10x10 squares, see the quad lined paper in README. If you look at the source code (ttx file) you'll see that this means just that all the coordinates are divisible by zero and there's no arcs and beziers, only straight lines. Theoretically, you can just go and scale all these numbers by some value and hope for the best, but I believe only the simplest glyphs will remain OK, many will become slightly (or not slightly) unsightly, because of the corners, joints, etc. These glyphs will need to be manually corrected.
We need some font expert to chime on this though.
