Performance compared to Quarkus

Hi, there.
I'm trying to figure out how ktor stacks up against Quarkus, performance, throughput, start-up speed and memory usage wise.

Looking at the tech empower benchmarks, things don't look that great?

Quarkus certainly wins on the tech empower benchmarks, although we made a few updates recently to optimize ktor's benchmark code so you can expect them to be a little closer in the next round. Here's some results that I just generated with the latest on my local. We don't have figures for startup speed or memory usage, though I would suspect Quarkus would win in those categories too since it's designed specifically for optimized performance in these areas. I'd be interested in testing these metrics if you know of a standard benchmark.
