Getting this to work with whisper.cpp?

Hey! I would love to give this a shot, the screencasts look really interesting. I don't have much expertise in this domain, but do you think it would be feasible to get this working with whisper.cpp's server mode which apparently emulates an "OAI-like API"?

If you think it wouldn't be too much work I'll give it a try but I don't want to dive in if you don't think it'll be reasonably quick to do.

Hi, sorry for the delay in response. It should be possible to use whisper.cpp but I am not sure if it provides partial intermediate results. If it does not, then we might need to chnage the way a new ASR is connected in this tool. In any case, I can give better estimate after checking the API out but I do not have time to do so right now. Feel free to give a try if you want to. In case I do get to this, I will notify here before so we don't duplicate the work.
