[ln882h] bad wifi performance

More than an issue this is a way to summon @lamauny (I found no other way to contact him).
Now that I solved the problem with my smart-plug, I find that it cannot maintain a wifi connection.
In the same exact position I have an old sonoff (esp8266) a shelly (esp32) and a wemos d1 mini (esp8266), the sonoff and the wemos flashed with esphome. All of them have no problem with wifi (not the best of signals but the ap reports -78 dBm with all of them) while with the ln882h it reports -84 dBm and it loses the connection constantly.
It depends on the library, the blobs, the makeshift antenna in the plug (a ~1cm cable soldered to the board) or is it simply a chip with bad wifi performance?

I've also noticed poor wifi performances, but I don't know what is the cause.
Don't forget this is a very cheap chinese module, then don't expect too much !

1. The default 11B power is increased by 48 codes, and the 11gn power is increased by 4 codes (and the power configuration of 11b and 11gn is placed in wifi_port.c)
2. Separate calibration of b/gn, and separate compensation for low/medium/high channels.
3. Fixed the problem that AP mode, hidden SSID does not work.
4. Fixed AP mode, if the password is empty, but the encryption mode is set, the AP hotspot is in an encrypted state and cannot be connected.

Interresting, AP mode fix is welcome anyway.
I'll wait for a release candidate before updating the sdk.

That's the new function wlib_get_1f_20_cfg (in components/wifi/wifi_lib_import/wifi_port.[hc])

It can be called by the wifi library, its source code is not given.

For the time being I put in front a c3 supermini (1,40 1,20€) with this 😬 let's see if it's reliable enough for my use case...
