Can we have common defconfig supporting all ARM platforms?

Hi team, 
Is it possible to have a common minimalist defconfig supporting all (or maximum) ARM platforms / MACHINE names listed in readme?
If so, would like to try with the respective build in yocto.. any thoughts would be appreciated.
