Creating a new document often fails #3668

Description

Distribution

Ubuntu 25.10

Package version

nemo 6.4.5

Frequency

Quite often

Bug description

Often, when I use "Create New Document -> Empty Document", Nemo silently fails to create the document. It's not always consistent, but it reliably happens every few attempts at most.

Steps to reproduce

The following reliably reproduces the issue for me:
Open a new instance of Nemo
Create a new directory and open it
Create a new file (via "Create New Document -> Empty Document") and keep the default name (this file is usually created fine)
Create another new file (this one is silently not created)

Edit: after a restart, I can no longer reproduce this with these steps. I've seen this issue occasionally for a while so I know it's not a transient issue. I'll update if I can find more reliable reproduction steps.

Expected behavior

Nemo should always create a file when requested.

Additional information

When running Nemo via the command line, it doesn't print any error messages. There also doesn't seem to be anything relevant in the syslog. Let me know if there's other log files that might contain relevant info, or if there's other system info I should share.
