WP content slideshow on the iPhone #172

Not sure this is the right place for this as I'm not sure where my problem is, but I think it's a javascript conflict between cycle and the iPhone IOS??
WP content slideshow uses the cycle js. It runs perfectly even on the iPad. But I just can't get it to work on the iPhone. I've made the plugin use the latest version of cycle (3.0.3), but this doesn't seem to make much difference (everything else still runs on the iPad and desktop).
Would it be possible to use the cycle2 script? Is it backwards compatible?
