What is the proper way to retrieve the telephone number when retrieving places?

Hello!
I see we have FTGooglePlacesAPISearchResponse and FTGooglePlacesAPIDetailResponse
What should I do if I want to retrieve telephone numbers (or place URL)?
Do I have to launch a search request and after that, take placeId and send another request to get its details? If I use the google places api directly without a wrapper, do I have to follow that logic again?
