Google v3 navigationControl is gone (no zoom)

It looks like the navigationControl and related options objects are gone from the v3 API, replaced by distinct options for each control (zoom, pan, etc). The effect in the current google v3 code is no zoom control at all - we should probably make a small zoom control the default.

The default behaviour for all providers is (or should be) to load with no controls, unless specified via addControlsArgs. So while we should certainly handle this change, a default small zoom control may not be the best way forward.

We should be able to incorporate that change into the fix for this issue (which affects addControlArgs, addSmallControls() and addLargeControls() as well). I imagine it might come as a surprise to existing installations using the current defaults - but since their controls have disappeared already, maybe acceptable.

A student interested in contributing to the project is working with me on this - we'll try to get a pull request in soon.

The problem isn't really the default behaviour IMHO, but that googlev3 controls don't work at all as far as I can tell. As a workaround, I've had to call the Google API manually to get them to display:
map.getMap().setOptions({zoomControl: true, panControl: true});
