TDP does not stay

I set 40W on ROG ally Z1 extreme. Initially it sets the correct TDP. Sometime later , TDP drops to 30W. I need to set TDP lower than 30W, then back up to 40W, to set the correct TDP.
This doesn't happen on Simple Decky TDP.
