Description
In most presentation setups, the speaker cannot directly see the main slide, since it’s projected behind them.
Tools like PowerPoint address this by showing a small preview of the current main slide within the speaker view.
It would be great to have a similar feature here. I can imagine two possible approaches:
- Simpler option: Add a flag such as
--listen-speaker-previewthat listens for events from--publish-speaker-notesbut displays the main slide instead of the notes. In this way, it's possible to open two terminals on the speaker display. - More advanced option: Implement an inset (thumbnail) of the main slide directly within the speaker view UI.
This would make it much easier for presenters to stay oriented during talks.
