Batch-api availability

Hi, I've starred the repo some time ago as I planned to work using this great piece for my next project - at the time there was a "batch-api" available in the master branch IIRC - today when I finally wanted to start working I've noticed it's not there - it is however in other branches.
Is there a reason it was moved? If it can be used without any/many issues - which branch would be the best to follow?

TL;DR: The batch API was moved during a migration to the Kiota framework, which paused updates for about a year. The master branch was reverted to the last stable release (v1.6.1) for stability, and the batch API feature is available in other branches like pre-revert-to-1.6.1 or migrating-to-Kiota. Plans are in place to integrate it properly in the future.

Background: During the development of the batch API, I was simultaneously working on migrating to the Kiota framework. Unfortunately, this migration led to a year-long period of inactivity for updates. As a result, I decided to revert the master branch to the last stable release (v1.6.1) to maintain stability. However, I preserved all updates following that release in a separate branch, named pre-revert-to-1.6.1.
Plan Moving Forward: To address this, I plan to better utilize the project's features to create a roadmap for upcoming changes, ensuring a more structured approach to updates.
Answer to Your Question: I'll prioritize adding the batch API feature to the project plan for future integration. If you need it sooner, you can explore the pre-revert-to-1.6.1 branch or the migrating-to-Kiota branch. Please keep in mind that neither branch is guaranteed to work flawlessly as they weren't finalized.

Once PR #206 is complete I'll begin work on reimplementing the batch api on the main branch! It along with Issue #204 are planned for 1.7.0

Hi, thanks a lot for the reply and an update - I have started working on the project and was planning to start implementing the api calls with one of the branches you've mentioned, but the second update is great!
