Hello - One thing we've heard from partners is that the H.264 codec does not do a good job of compressing moving video, for example when someone is wearing a HoloLens and walking around the images appear blurry. You could try the VP8 codec which others have reported does a better job of handling the motion compression. Note that VP8 is not hardware accelerated on HoloLens so use a low resolution and check the CPU usage via Device Portal. Also would recommend 1-way video rather than bidirectional if your application allows for it.

Hello, we are using VP8 video format, and it is one-way transmission from hololens to PC. But when I use a higher resolution on HoloLens, the video received by PC is very clear, but the frame number is very low. When I use a lower resolution, the number of frames I receive on the PC side is OK, but the definition is too low. Is there a good way to improve clarity without reducing the number of frames?

Hi, just catching up after the holidays. The best you can do for performance is to use H.264 and send a 1 way stream from HL to PC. Also turning off Mixed-Reality Capture will reduce the CPU load on the HL which would help. Unfortunately there is no simple solution.
