Here is an event log screenshot showing the system error:

Isssue description

I created a dev drive using the Dev Home app and every time I restart my PC the dev drive does not auto mount itself. I have to manually mount and then it is usable again.

The image I attached to the traces section shows that the problem may be a pathing issue? The path is correct until the end where it appends many random characters.

Steps to reproduce

1. Create a dev drive using the dev home app
2. Restart your PC
3. Observe that the dev drive is not mounted automatically on startup

Expected Behavior

The dev drive should be auto mounted on startup

Actual Behavior

The dev drive is not automatically mounted on PC startup

Had the same problem with the dev drive not mounting after reboot. I fixed the problem by attaching the dev drive.

1. Go to Settings>Storage>Disks and Volumes.
2. Click on the Attach VHD.
3. Browse to the dev drive and select it.
4. Click on Attach.

Check if the dev drive is mounted and reboot to confirm if it has worked.
