zIndex doesn't have any effect

i have made the following table however when i try to open the dropdown, it goes under the next row and i have set position to absolute and zIndex to a higher number but still it doesn't have any effect.:

when i try to set inverted property of flatlist to true it works fine but not the other way around:

any idea or work around will be appreciated.
