API Access for an Extension

Hi,

Working on adding Jupyter support into the existing SQL notebooks functionality I have as part of the DBCode extension (dbcode.dbcode is the id).

I am reaching out to ask for the extension to be granted access to the API as outlined here: https://github.com/microsoft/vscode-jupyter/wiki/Accessing-Jupyter-Kernels-from-3rd-party-extensions#access-to-the-api

If this is not the right place, point me in the right direction and I will head there ;)

Thank you for reaching out.
Unfortunately the old API is deprecated with plans to remove it (I've updated the WIKI.).
Please use the new API as defined here https://github.com/microsoft/vscode-extension-samples/tree/main/jupyter-kernel-execution-sample

We have a few other proposed API
All of the stable and proposed API can be found here https://github.com/microsoft/vscode-jupyter/tree/main/src

• api.proposed.*.d.ts
  All other API is either deprecated or not planned to be exposed.

If the API above doesn't work, please file an issue with details on the requirement along with the (user) workflow
