Support for Personal Homepage Templates (Beyond Documentation)

Hi Mintlify team,

I recently reached out to Mintlify support regarding whether Mintlify can be used for personal websites, and the team confirmed that:

• Mintlify is primarily designed for documentation
• Custom Mode can be used for more flexible layouts
• Currently there are no templates specifically for personal homepages

Given how modern, polished, and easy-to-deploy Mintlify is, I think having first-class support for personal/portfolio website templates would be incredibly useful to many developers, researchers, and creators who prefer a unified aesthetic across their documentation and personal pages.

What I’m Requesting

I’d love to see Mintlify offer one or more official personal homepage templates, such as:

• A clean “portfolio” or “profile” homepage
• A simple personal blog template
• A landing page with hero section + link grid
• Optional sections: About Me, Projects, Blog Posts, Social Links

These could be built on top of the Mintlify system and optionally leverage Custom Mode.

Why This Matters

• Many developers already use Mintlify for documentation and want a consistent brand/style for their personal site.
• Setting up personal sites with Tailwind + VitePress + Astro can be time-consuming; Mintlify’s simplicity and aesthetic are very appealing.
• It would open new use cases for Mintlify beyond documentation while staying within the same ecosystem.
