Add more QML Modules

hello,
i would like to know if there is a way to use other QML Modules in addition to those already bundled in Pegasus, because when i import (for example) QtQuick.Pdf 1.0, the lastrun.log reports: module QtQuick.Pdf is not installed.

Hi! Most of the modules that work well in a big screen setup, and have good cross platform support are already enabled, but let me know if there's something you need.

For PDF support in particular, there's a plan for that at #447.

At the moment the only way i have found to view the manual is to manually convert the pdf into sequential images and then load them into a horizontal Listview, which works but is a slow procedure.
If there was a way to import "QtQuick.Pdf 1.0" i can try to load the pdf and display the pages as images in the Listview, which would be the best solution

Thanks, i opened pegasus.pro in Qt creator that i use to develop the theme, i imported QtQuick.Pdf 1.0 in qmlplugins.qml but i get an error when i press "Run" or "Build Project"

I tried to install a new version of Qt Creator following the instructions in Pegasus Doc, maybe i'm missing something, if i can't get it to run could you possibly send me an executable version of pegasus with the QtQuick.Pdf 1.0 module inside so i can try to do a test to view the manual?

The code looks good, I think you might be using Qt 6, in which case you can try Qt 5.15. Alternatively, if Qt Gamepad is a separate module for you, you might need to enable that too. You can install them through the Qt Maintenance tool, and you can change the Qt version under Projects after installation.

Thanks mmatyas for the help and patience, i installed the Qt 5.15 version following your instructions, i opened pegasus.pro selecting only the 5.15 version and everything loaded, but when i press Build Project two new errors appear

It seems some files are missing. Did you download the source from GitHub as a ZIP file, or you used a Git client? If GitHub didn't put all the files into the ZIP, you might need to use a Git client.

Thanks for the support, i downloaded the Client version and when i try to clone it gives me the following error

Seems like a network error, just try again. Also if the program asks, make sure you download everything. This might be called as "recursive clone" depending on the app.

You are right, i restarted the modem and everything downloaded correctly!
Build Project also completed the process without errors but when i open the pegasus-fe.exe (C:\Users\DELL\Documents\GitHub\pegasus-frontend\build\Desktop_Qt_5_15_0_MinGW_64_bit-Debug\src\app\debug\pegasus-fe.exe) it does not find the following dlls: Qt5Gamepad.dll, Qt5Core.dll, Qt5Gui.dll, Qt5Network.dll

Great! You should be now able to launch it from Qt Creator without errors. If you want to launch it outside of the creator, then yes, you'll need to copy the DLLs it seeks from Qt's install dir to Pegasus' folder.

Thanks for the info, i put the missing dlls in the root folder but when i open pegasus-fe.exe i get error 0xc000007b

Try copying all DDLs you find there, including any libSomething and (MS)VCSomething. If still doesn't work, try Dependency Walker: https://doc.qt.io/qt-5/windows-deployment.html#application-dependencies.
