SSE used as example in docs despite it being deprecated

Describe the bug
The docs for publishing a remote server give SSE as the example transport type, despite it being deprecated in the latest MCP spec.

I think the community would appreciate a consistent messaging regarding which transport type is the default and preferred type.

You’re absolutely right to call this out and it’s something that will be addressed 💯

We talked about this in a recent PR and the main point was that even though it’s deprecated there are still plenty of servers out there using it. While in its preview state, the registry is meant to be a little more flexible and will not strictly enforce compatibility with the latest spec so that adoption is easier. That said, this won’t be the case forever and at some point publishing SSE servers will no longer be acceptable 👍

Let's keep that issue open for when it's time to address this 👍

If I'm reading correctly, you're not suggesting we remove SSE as an example nor functionality surrounding it, right? You're just asking for Streamable HTTP to be the primary example in the docs?

If so, I agree, and I think we'd accept a PR that tweaks the docs that way
