More consistent error messaging #2
Description
For example, on structural errors, what gets put into extra could either be an object with one level, or a bunch of nested objects depending on whether the assertion is 0.5.0 or 1.0.0.
(On that note, it'd be easier for parsing (but harder for testing) if the extra field was an array instead of an object.)
