What is Janeway?

Janeway is a journal management system developed by the Centre for Technology and Publishing at Birkbeck, University of London. Janeway is a full platform allowing submission, review, editing and production of scholarly articles before then processing them for display. Technology

Janeway is written in Python 3 and utilises the Django framework. Django is a web application framework that was originally developed for the publishing industry, it has a very well established community and best practice. This means that a large number of developers will have come across the structure that Janeway uses. Acknowledgements
