Android 8 requirement is shutting out many users #348

Hi,
I have several devices where I would love to run M3UAndroid on. It is such an amazing app. Sadly all the devices run on Android 7.1.2
Is there really a HARD requirement to go with Android8? Why not check for the few Android8 features if Android8 or later is running on the device and than just work around it if it is Android7.
Please make it happen. This is such an amazing app and many people cannot use it for this reason.
