Self-hosted Plausible plugin locks user out of /wp-admin (White screen / Loading)

I am experiencing a critical issue where the Plausible Analytics plugin completely blocks access to the WordPress Dashboard (/wp-admin).

I am using the Self-Hosted version of Plausible. When the plugin is active, I cannot log in to my sites. The only way to restore access was to manually access the server via FTP/File Manager and rename the plugin folder to forcibly deactivate it.

• I am running Plausible on Coolify with Hetzner VPS
• Plugin is updated to the latest version
• Updated and redeployed Plausible on the Coolify server

That's an odd issue. I'm guessing it's a JavaScript error.

Can you check your browser's Developer Tools for any errors?

To access your DevTools press F12. Then make sure you are on the Console tab and reload the page. If you see any errors expand the details and please share screenshots.

Hi Dan, there is only one javascript error. The issues its still the same can't load wordpress dashboard. Its juts loading and this is in the console after maybe a minute I get 504 Gateway Time-out.

Ah, you're getting a 504? Then PHP is probably sent into a loop by something.

• Please also check your PHP error log for any errors related to our plugin (the plugin's slug plausible-analytics must be mentioned somewhere)
