Can ejabberd be run behind a cloudflare tunnel?

I have a raspberry pi which I am using to self host various services. As I don't have a static IP address and I don't want to open ports on my router I am using a cloudflare tunnel to expose my services to the internet.

Is it possible to self host an ejabberd server with this kind of setup? And is there any documentation?

just route all the needed ports to your machine, right?

It is my understanding that with a free cloudflare tunnel you can only forward ports 80 and 443 and as I understand it ejabberd needs access to other ports.

However, I've seen it mentioned that this might be achievable using BOSH or websockets but I'm not sure whether this is really the case and it's not clear to me if anyone has actually done this!
