Description
In the Solar curves project we changed the modeling of the solar pv inputs.
Before, the solar pv curve was blended with a flatter curve when setting the flh inputs.
This was to prevent that the maximum output of the technology would exceed the installed capacity.
This can occur due to the stretching of the very bumpy solar pv-curves.
In the new modeling, we limited the bandwith of the FLH's to prevent that the maximum output of the technology would exceed the installed capacity.
It is not set in stone that this bandwith is future proof for new curves.
We should therefore implement a document validation spec that checks whether the bandwith is still appriopriate for the curve.
Proposed Improvement
The curve should adhere to the following:
- max of curve normalised to 1
- should not exceed 1/(flh * max_input_factor)
Where currently max_input_factor = 1.2
