What I would like to see on the front Description, Features and Prerequisites page

Good Day, just wondering if you can please add a section for what still needs to be implemented into the Wizard to make the finished output product 'Roku public store compliant' and another section for all the features that are currently implemented: Deep linking, Roku Subscription Pay, etc...

I'm pretty sure that some users of this project have been successful in publishing their channels. Are you experiencing specific problems publishing a channel?

Hello, no, I haven't tried uploading a channel yet. Are there instructions on how to configure the channel to utilize the Roku Pay monthly billing subscription service and what will the channel display if the user isn't subscribed yet? I assume the channel will prompt for the user to subscribe if haven't subscribed yet? Thanks

If you want to offer subscriptions, you should review the project wiki. It details how to go about setting up subscription services. Then, use the Roku portal to define one or more test products and a test user. Run the wizard and set the switch to use subscriptions.

Now, you'll need to set up a back end server to process subscriptions. The paywall is handled by Roku and is part of the generated code. Next, side load the channel and test.

I currently have a monthly subscription channel setup on Roku using Roku Pay and it will check if the user is subscribed or not and if not then will prompt the user to Subscribe so I don't currently have any back end server to process subscriptions, Roku handles all that so this feature will work differently then if I use this wizard to create this type of channel? Are there instructions for setting up the back end server, are they also in the project wiki page?

Roku pay processes the user payment for you. It doesn't validate the user to your channel. The back end code you must write is used when the user authenticates to your channel. The generated wizard code calls your back end code to make sure the user has the authority to view your content.

The wiki explains how everything fits together.

Ok, I'll have to look into that, my current channel must use the validate-transaction API commands to Rokus own servers to verify an active user Roku subscription or not, a developer coded into my current channel and seems to be working correctly without any back end server.
