Description

Webpages sometimes do not render after resizing them.

Reproduction steps

1. Click the Shop button to open the Marketplace.
2. Resize the webpage a little wider a few times.

Observed: Occasionally the webpage remains black or gray and the webpage does not render.

Expected: The webpage should render after being resized.

Workaround: Move your mouse cursor over the webpage and it will render.

Notes:

• Many of our pages (eg. Marketplace) are wider than the initial size of the web browser, so users are going to resize the page and experience this issue.
• This bug does not reproduce on Release 7.2.1.17108480561 - 2025.06.
• Found during testing of https://github.com/secondlife/iqa/issues/550.

I am looking at this. You raise a good point about the initial window size though - should we change the default floater size? If we do, there is a chance it's too big on smaller screens. The web content should really reflow to match the size but I don't imagine that's possible anytime soon.

Doesn't repro in the test harness - almost like the Viewer is missing an update but if that was the case, I'd expect the page to not change/resize vs go blank.. Continuing to dig

It does happen on the release viewer 7.2.1 but only with the release notes floater - not with marketplace. (Probably a bug that the Release notes appear in the release Viewers after you have opens a different Viewer version previously).
