Void signer can not sign a transaction

I have made an erc721 clone.

Now when I am performing the following tests:

it is giving the following error on this line ( await testersToken.mint(tester, uri))

I have checked the debug terminal for the variables and they are to the mark as per me.

Please help.

@darshilmistry Here testersToken = await TokenD.connect(tester) you are passing an address to connect, but it should be signer.

I had already tried what you had said but I am getting this error.

Error: invalid address or ENS name (argument="name", value="<SignerWithAddress 0x3C44CdDdB6a900fa2b585dd299e03d12FA4293BC>", code=INVALID_ARGUMENT, version=contracts/5.7.0)

I am extremally sorry! I made a small mistake. I used the ethers.getSigners() function and then directly used the result of signers[1] in my getBalance() function which resulted in the previous error.

I saw the error thoroughly and thought that adding a .address after tester solves the problem.
so the new test looks like this and yields required result.
