Disallow empty names?

This might seem like an obvious thing, but I wonder if we should disallow empty names?
Problem with these things is that by limiting something, we're bound to have somebody complain about it.

Also, if we limit names... Should we also limit names with only whitespace in them? Maybe even trim all leading/trailing whitespace? Support unicode? Read a setting from a config file?

Seems easy, quickly grows complicated. Should we allow disallow empty messages too?
FYI: Neither discord nor reddit prevent you from sending messages with only a zero width space. This hasn't really been a problem so far.

Another idea: We allow users to set a custom regex. Won't be nearly as fast, but should be more powerful.

Honestly IMO names should always be readable.
