Retrieve GNSS Type information

Hello, I'd like to retrieve information about the GNSS Type (i.e. GPS, GLONASS, Baidu) used to get the position data: is there a way to do it with your library? In particular the information I'd like to get is the gnssid.

I see that it is included in the SKY sentence under the satellites list, but your SKYObject includes only the PRN number of each element of the SATObject list, not the gnssid.

You write that at each range of PRNs is associated a GNSS Type (GPS, GLONASS, etc). Is that a reliable association? Is there any other way to be sure that the information was given by a specific GNSS System?

@sfiorani I assume you are referring to the gnssid as documented in gpsd here (table 3) and here? it should be relatively easy to expose this data if it is filled in, looks like it is an optional field though in the GPSD json structures.

@sfiorani an alternative way to know what the type of network is, is to use the PRN value:

• 1-63 are GNSS satellites
• 64-96 are GLONASS satellites
• 100-164 are SBAS satellites
