How can i use it in Nextjs13 appDir

I've seen the example on https://github.com/tanem/react-nprogress/tree/master/examples/next-router.
However, when I switch to appDir mode, I find that I can't use next/router in either layout.tsx or template.tsx.
Additionally, router.events seems to be missing in next/navigation.
