Connected on both phone / PC but no sound received

Hi, i have had that exact issue since i started to use this terrific application, however, i used to change the noise settings on PC to be able to hear myself, i used to do that for some reason which i do not know, and today when i tried to use the app again i found out there is no solution to that issue, both phone and pc are connected through the WIFI TCP but no voice detected, any solution?

i have removed/uninstalled the app on both, phone and PC, i also have resetted the app's permission on phone and deleted every remaining app's files before reinstalling it, yet same issue presists..

i haven't changed any kind of my OS / Phone settings whatsoever, i've used it before and it was working properly on discord / games etc.

Did it show the audio wave graph on the pc app when you talked to the phone?

I see that means the audio data isn't being sent from Android phone. Weird. Did you enable the microphone permission for the app in system settings?

Yes, i have done that and also i have reinstalled the apk all over and made sure that the mic permission's given, yet nothing changed

Well, i kept changing the audio format until it worked, but the audio isn't as clear as it was before

in the past i used to use the Audio format F32 but now it would only work when the format is i16, is there any chance to solve that issue?

Did you configure the settings on mobile app as well? i16 is common for mobile apps and f32 should be supported on most PCs. You can start with 16000, mono, i16 on mobile app, and then use recommended formats (there's a button) on PC app and test to see if it works

Yes i have configured the app and the pc app's settings to meet the i16 configuration but i wonder why do i have to use that low quality configuration when i used to use the highest quality configurations? it suddenly stopped working when i use the recommended settings i get through the PC app

I have the same problem as well. in my case the setup is a bit different. i use Virtual Audio Cable (VAC) to route the received sound through FL studio so i can apply some processing to the audio. however when i use f32 with a sample rate of 192 KHz, and even though both desktop and mobile applications are in their latest version, the connection doesn't transmit audio.

To me the problem occured when i updated both my Desktop and Mobile applications to the latest Android Mic versions.

thanks to @Whitecheetah1 when i changed the settings to i16 audio format with a sample rate of 48 KHz, and stereo channels, things worked smoothly.

if it helps, here's the devices i use:

Phone : Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra (Android 15 - One UI 7.0)
PC : Windows 11 Enterprise (22H2)
Network : 5Ghz Wi-Fi

Same problem on me, change to i16 fix it.

nope. sorry, I don't know which version I was using but I'm sure the desktop application I previously had didn't have a combo box to select the Network Adapter. that's pretty much all I can remember of it

when i configured both android app and the desktop application to f32 and 192KHZ the TCP connection establishes just fine. but there is no audio transmission. meaning, even though the app and the desktop application connection is successful with no errors, none of the applications that I'm routing the audio to are receiving a signal and there is no sign of life in the audio wave visualization panel. There are no errors in the AndroidMic.log file.
