Feature request: Virtual Microphone Input from PC Audio

I wanted to ask if a feature like the following exists, or if it could be considered for future development:

Feature Request / Use Case:

• I would like AndroidMic to receive PC audio output and make it available to any Android app as microphone input in real-time.

• The goal is for the Android device to act as a virtual microphone, so apps like Zoom, WhatsApp, or any voice recording app will treat the PC audio as if it were spoken into the Android microphone.

• Support for both Wi-Fi and USB connections would be ideal.

• Low latency would be preferred, but even a small delay is acceptable.

If such functionality already exists or if there are any workarounds, I’d greatly appreciate your guidance.

Hi this is an interesting idea. This feature doesn't exist in AndroidMic and probably out of scope. Thinking of potential implementation of this feature, I believe the most challenging part is to build an Android side microphone driver so that apps like Zoom can pull and see the virtual audio device. It probably requires root access to the phone and customized roms.

Meanwhile, if you know of any existing app or tool that already does this, I’d really appreciate if you could point me in that direction.
