How to turn off hearing myself

I want to use the application for talking with other people and it's uncomfortable hearing myself

My solution: I selected a different audio device, and I used the same one as my mic and a different one as my headphone., The audio device you choose only has to be connected, not even on, and it works.

If you are on Windows, you should set up the virtual microphone device, for example VB Audio. Then select that device in the program

On Linux, application behaves like a player which produces sounds.

NoiseTorch, for example, can represent itself like it is an input device.

This should be the way, I think.
