Build without QT?

Is there an option to build this package without the QT dependency?

Alternatively is there a dependency list someplace for this package and the tesseract_qt package that I am missing someplace? Is there a public QT lib available that can be used to build this stuff without a QT license?

The package.xml will have the list of dependencies. You should be able to install all of the dependencies using apt and rosinstall file.

Not seeing that as a stock available package, did you include QT source repos possibly? Building it from source seems to require the proper QT dev install.

You will need to add the following ppa to install it.

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:levi-armstrong/tesseract-robotics
sudo apt update

If you don't not need any of the rviz plugins you can add a COLCON_IGNORE to tesseract_qt and any package that depends on it.
