Lazy loaded modules Apollo service access case documentation

Maybe I am blind, but I just wasted quite some time trying to figure out why my lazy loaded module has no access to the Apollo service, until I stumbled on the migration guide. Shouldn't this be a little more in the open? Seems like a pretty big deal.
