PDF customization questions

I have been directed here from @tuunit as i have been using his great plugin to integrate drawio graphs in mkdocs.
I have the requirement of also generating PDF docs for formal reviewing, and he directed me here.

Your approach to this is quite nice and it's the one that seems to be compatible with most plugins, but i seem to be missing a couple of things, not sure if for my ignorance or if they are genuine feature requests.

1. Is there a way to personalize the PDF pagination (instead of "Page n" to just have "n" or "n/total")?
2. Is there a way to insert page breaks?

PDF pagination is really tricky, actually in general PDF generation. That's why I took a different approach with this plugin; you can use the browser to print the single page website (also to a PDF).

If you need a lot of control of PDF generation, have a look at other mkdocs PDF plugins, or consider looking at a tool like https://quarto.org/ , which is amazing for technical authoring (people write books with it; https://quarto.org/docs/books/).

If you're almost there, and you just want some basic tweaks, you can research using CSS to modify the print layout, see for example https://stackoverflow.com/questions/1664049/can-i-force-a-page-break-in-html-printing.

I'm planning to keep this plugin simple and not add more; it's already tricky enough to combine the entire site into that single page :)
