error is showing on wrong colum and line

Here is HTML & CSS, the CSS has a missing } before </style>

the issue is the extension: (Error Lens by Alexander) in (visual studio code)
shows the wrong colum and wrong line, to where the error is, as you can see from the screenshot.

Looks correct to me. Squiggly underline is at the line 18.

The red { color is from the grammar (TextMate or TreeSitter) and a separate thing from diagnostic api that this extension uses.

oh i just noticed the body tag had a issue, i fixed that

but on this new screenshot it says the error is on line 11, colum 8 in the problems window, but the error is on line 5, colum 23, like it shows where i put the curser and the v.s.c says line 5,colum 23, for where the } should be

I think this error is not even from grammar, but from bracket colorization and depends on

"editor.bracketPairColorization.enabled": true,

This extension uses api that languages provide and nothing else.

This specific problem is from VSCode CSS validation. It doesn't show if you disable it:

"css.validate": false,

It might be a valid CSS, but it clearly breaks syntax highlighting in the entire document. Do you write CSS omitting closing brackets?

are you saying that it is the vsc software that causes the error lens to show the error on the wrong line and colum?
