[Bug]: Password fields don't work with special characters

Describe the Bug *

Set mysql password with special character and you will not be able to log in. Same with Wordpress admin password.

Steps to Reproduce *

1. Go to database users
2. Set password using special character. For my testing I used $
3. Try to connect to database using user and password with special character.

Expected Behavior *

Set the appropriate password

Logs *

Logs unhelpful for this issue

Wanted to ensure this wasn't an issue on my end. I will look at doing a pull request to fix this.
