Error message override

It would be nice if we could set a custom error message to override the default ones.
For example:

Red Blue

I think "Please choose a color" makes more sense to a user than the default.

Hum, I'll have to think about the best way to implement something like this. I agree that this would be a useful feature.

I made some updates in a new branch element-specific-messages. This allows you to set element-specific error message overrides. I like the clean approach and how it works well with the rest of the plugin. The only negative is that there are possible collisions with validation names.

So if your input has a name attribute of email and you want a custom error message for this input it will override the default error message for all email validations. I'm not sure this is such a big deal, however. Some prefixing may be in order...

If you look at the diff it may make some sense master...element-specific-messages

So if your input has a name of color then you can modify the form validate options to have something like this

      failure: {
        'color': 'Please choose a color.'
      }
    }
  }
});
