[Feature request] draft plugin

I am not sure whether it's worthy for us to built simple plugins like this.

Besides the draft plugin, there are other features that are ≤ 30 lines size, which is a standalone feature (mostly small).

If implemented as core or plugin, after being marked as draft, although we can directly filter from pages, if a page marked as draft appears in the sidebar or navbar, it will lead to a 404 page. How should this situation be addressed?

Why should a draft page be added in this case?

It's not completed, so why should it be manually added?

Even if marked as draft, users still need to edit the content. Users may need to preview the page content in development mode. If draft pages are filtered out from pages in this scenario, does it mean the page returns a 404 error?

Conversely, does a draft require users to check and mark it before publishing?
Or can users add the draft label when creating a new document?
